I think it’s the end of the line for our peppers this year. George went out last night and gathered what he could before the temperature dropped to nearly freezing last night. We have quite a few gigantic jalapeños and some beautiful bell peppers too. The basil had already bolted and this morning you could tell the cold gobbled it up. The garden of peppers did not disappoint us this year!

For what we cannot eat, I will be giving to the guinea pigs and my daughter’s tortoise. They love the bell peppers very much. I can make some stuffed jalapeños too, YUM! Do you think we should freeze-dry the rest or dehydrate? Let me know in the comments below.
