Remember when I mentioned the “End of the Line” for the garden when George grabbed up the remaining peppers? Well, he decided to preserve some. A year or so ago, we bought this Presto Digital Pressure Canner and it has come in handy.

He used a recipe from the Ball Home Preserving book for their Pickled Hot Peppers but changed it a little as it calls for a variety of peppers that we didn’t have. It’s vinegar-based with fresh crushed garlic that, you guessed it, we still had from our earlier garlic harvest this year!
