Bad News

Hello everyone, Cyndi here with an important update. If you’ve been following our posts you know that we’ve been working on building a Market Garden. One of the things we have to do in order to sell is to create an LLC.

The bad news is that “The Baker Farm” name was in use!

We put our heads together and tried many new names, some were adorable but already taken. It can be difficult trying to find a name that is completely unique yet fitting.

Good News

Our new farm name is Three River Oaks Farm!

Let me explain…

We have three water oak trees on our property that I am pretty fond of, the large one is pictured here. We also live in a river town and near the Waccamaw River, pretty close as the crow flies, so George came up with the name Three River Oaks Farm!

The LLC name was available and he jumped on it. I had a bit of remorse afterwards thinking we should have spent more time finding something more unique and shorter but we went ahead with this mainly because George issued the request and it will cost over $100 to rename it. Not that it’s too much in the grand scheme of things but it’s a hundred dollars.

The name is pretty unique, especially in this area so it shouldn’t get confused with any other farms like the other.

Now I am working to migrate our website, our YouTube channel and build our new Facebook page on the new name. We’ve purchased the domain Three River Oaks Farm and I have started the branding process.

We are planning on a redirect to the new name and hope that it goes seamlessly for our viewers. Thank you so much for your patience and please stay with us as we continue to grow!
